Potentiometers generally have a lifespan that depends on the number of cycles they go through. Although the wear of transmitter potentiometers varies with driving style and individual settings, potentiometers will wear out with long-term use.
A worn-out potentiometer leads to reduced response speed and impaired stable function. Replacing it with a new ST & TH unit can maintain the transmitter s performance.
SANWA recommends replacing the ST & TH unit every 200 operating hours.
Note: After replacing the ST & TH unit, recalibration must be performed.
